Brand: Charge Utile
Series: Special Issue N°92 - Berliet 1971-1972
(pages: 84)
The seventies were a decade of danger. The intensification of European competition, the looming oil crises and the trend towards concentration among truck manufacturers forced Berliet to undergo radical change. The need to offer ever more competitive vehicles called for the renewal of product ranges, an unprecedented effort in design and research, and constant improvement in quality.
Rationalization of the product range, advanced integration of components for greater independence and lower costs are just some of the challenges to be met. Nevertheless, the brand will succeed in presenting several models that will go down in its history: the GR and TR 280, the GR and TR 320, as well as the new Dauphins range.
The GBH 12 6 × 6 and the 770 KEH fire engine are also among them. We invite you to continue this fabulous saga in this new special issue.
