HOHAN is a heavy-duty truck brand launched by Sinotruk (China National Heavy Duty Truck Group), one of China’s oldest truck manufacturers. Introduced in the early 2010s, the brand was developed in Jinan, Shandong Province, to offer a line of trucks that strike a good balance between performance, reliability, and operating costs.

Created to complement Sinotruk’s product lineup, the HOHAN brand benefits from the technologies developed by the group, particularly through its long-standing partnership with MAN Truck & Bus. HOHAN trucks thus incorporate many technical features from Sinotruk’s high-end models, while targeting a more affordable segment. The HOHAN N5G and HOHAN MAX series are among the brand’s most representative models.

HOHAN primarily manufactures tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbed trucks, construction vehicles, and other heavy-duty vehicles for freight transport, public works, and industrial use. These vehicles are sold in China as well as in many countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

The brand is still in operation and is wholly owned by the Sinotruk Group, which is controlled by the Shandong Heavy Industry Group. Thanks to technological support from MAN and Sinotruk’s international network, HOHAN continues to expand in the Chinese and international markets, while gradually broadening its lineup of modern trucks.
